Many of you have asked for SPAM filtering and Intelleq is pleased to announce the arrival of this new service.  In fact, Intelleq will now provide all email customers SPAM protection along with a new and improved Virus filter at no additional charge

This announcement is to inform you of these new and exciting features along with additional online support documentation to help you get the most from your service.

How does it work?  Our systems automatically scan all incoming and outgoing email for viruses and SPAM.  However, there are a couple of features we think may be of interest to you.  First, you may notice a few messages in your mailbox that have subject lines which read similar to the following: [ Spam Probability: 34% ]. This just means our system is 34 percent sure this message is SPAM; unsolicited mail from mass marketing companies and online solicitors.  Messages with less than a 50% probability are tagged and passed directly to your mailbox.  Messages that have a probability of greater than 50% are quarantined and held in a separate quarantined area on our servers for 7 days.  After 7 days, the messages are automatically discarded. 

Optionally, you may view your quarantined mail and even opt out of SPAM filtering by using our Quarantine Digest found here. Prior to using it for the first time, you will need to request a password thru the link located at the bottom of the page.  Check your email for signup confirmation and you’re on your way!  If you are someone who has no interest in seeing your SPAM email, you may disregard this option and enjoy your new Spam Free mailbox!
